Our own software

OrderMAX

Your controls already record what they do. OrderMAX reads the CIMCO MDC-Max database and turns it into OEE, lost hours and money, order by order. Without touching the machines and without installing anything on them.

You already have the data. What's missing is reading it.

If you run MDC-Max, your machines have been recording cycle starts, stops and alarms for months. The usual problem is that it all sits in a database nobody opens, and the question that matters —what did this order cost us, and why— is still answered from memory. OrderMAX reads that database and answers it with numbers.

What you'll see

The shift, right now

One bar per machine from the start of the shift to the end, showing what it was doing at every moment: running, tool change, micro-stop, downtime or no signal — with the reason the operator logged.

The loss, in euros

Every hour that didn't turn into a good part, valued at that machine's cost per hour. That's the number you make investment decisions with.

Order by order

The full route of a production order through your machines, what each one lost, and how long the part waited between operations. That's usually where the lead time goes.

History and Excel

Shift by shift, with no time limit, exportable to Excel. The history is kept on your own server, not on the internet.

Which shift performs best

Shifts and plants side by side, with the gap valued in money. It is usually the cheapest improvement there is: levelling practices, with no investment.

From your phone

It's a web app: an email and a password, from the office, from home or from the shop floor.

How it works

Installed in an afternoon, on the server you already have, and it touches no machine.

  1. 1

A program on the MDC-Max server

It installs as a Windows service on the very machine where MDC-Max already runs. It starts with the computer and needs nobody to log in.

  2. 2

    Read-only, and always outbound

It creates its own database user with read permission only, and opens no ports: it is always the one placing the call, over HTTPS. Nothing to change in your firewall.

  3. 3

The cloud shows, the plant computes

When you ask for a period, the question goes down to your server, is computed there and only the result comes back up. Your production history is never copied to the internet.

What you need

CIMCO MDC-Max up and running, collecting data from your machines. If you don't have it yet, that's the step before — and we set it up too: we are official CIMCO distributors in Spain. The one thing OrderMAX cannot know is each machine's cost per hour: you set that, and it is what turns hours into money.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need MDC-Max to use OrderMAX?

Yes. OrderMAX doesn't talk to the controls: it reads what MDC-Max has already recorded from them. If you don't have it, we install it first — same server, same visit.

Does my production data leave the plant?

The full history doesn't: it stays on your plant server. What goes up to the cloud is a summary of the current shift, so there's something on screen the moment you open it. When you ask for a specific period, it is computed on your server and displayed.

Do we have to open ports in the firewall?

No. The program in your plant calls outwards over HTTPS, the way a browser does. It doesn't listen on the network, it needs no fixed IP, and nothing new is exposed to the internet.

How long does it take to get running?

An afternoon. The program is installed on the MDC-Max server, connected to its database, and confirmed from the cloud as yours. The next day you already have a full shift measured.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Nothing is lost. MDC-Max keeps recording and the history keeps being written to your server; the only thing you can't do is look at it from outside until the line is back.

How much does it cost?

It is sold per plant and per person with access, with no limit on machines or production orders. Ask us for a quote and we'll give you the figure for your case.

Shall we look at it with your data?

We'll show you OrderMAX running and, if you already have MDC-Max, what it would show for your shop.
